your work, your life, your style

On trend. Same same. Following the crowd. That’s not us. And we don’t think it should be you. Not when it comes to something as essential as your career.

At TJX, doing our own thing has always been our strength. As the world’s biggest off-price retailer we’re proud to stand apart. So, when you begin your career with us you get to do it your way. From the world of opportunities you can dive into across our European operations to the confidence you’ll get to be nothing but yourself, here you’ll discover many ways to make your future your own.

Your professional life? Let’s make it personal.

At TJX, it’s your work, your life, your style.

photography style

We went with a photography style that used relaxed, characterful portraits of their people to showcase the energy and spirit they bring to TJX. Focused entirely on their early career employees, and celebrating each in their individual way, we aimed to create an identity that’s full of joy.

Photographing their people in front of a white backdrop (later to be edited into TJX branded colours), we wanted to capture each person expressing a range of happy, authentic emotions and fun-filled poses, all caught in close-up shots to create a photobooth-like style.

film

TJX's bright, multi-purpose HQ in Watford is a unique selling point and one we wanted to show off to potential candidates. To do that, we aimed to create a short campaign film to put on the Early Careers site giving an insight into life at TJX.

Fast-paced and full of tongue-in-cheek charm, it intended to show their Early Careers employees enjoying different spaces around the offices. And, when it added the most humour, responded to the voiceover viewers will hear over their footage.

Just like our social short films, animation, sound effects,
and small slices of visual humour will add to the overall joy.

talking heads

To bring their individual stories to life, we chose to film 3 heroes to film short scenes with.

From these scenes, we wanted to create a set of social media- friendly films. Using small bits of animation, sound effects, and quick asides from our on-screen heroes, these would be light-hearted insights into who they are and why they love working at TJX.

Each short was based on the details we learned about our heroes in pre-production.
